Climate change has occurred all because of us the global warming rate has increased. The global annual temperature has increased at an average rate of 0.08°C (0.14°F) per decade since 1880 and over twice that rate (+0.18°C / +0.32°F) since 1981.

Climate change is having serious impacts on the world's water systems through more flooding and droughts. Warmer air can hold a higher water content, which makes rainfall patterns more extreme. Rivers and lakes supply drinking water for people and animals and are a vital resource for farming and industry.Climate change may aggravate erosion, decline in organic matter, salinisation, soil biodiversity loss, landslides, desertification and flooding. 


  • rising maximum temperatures.
  • rising minimum temperatures.
  • rising sea levels.
  • higher ocean temperatures.
  • an increase in heavy precipitation (heavy rain and hail)
  • shrinking glaciers.
